Well…that’s one thing that won’t be happening to any co-star opposite Katrina Kaif.
She’s instill a firm ‘no’ to kissing scenes in her forthcoming films even if the script demands so.
A friend of the actress said, “Katrina has said no to kissing scenes in all her films such as New York. And believe me, the directors are very keen to see her kissing her co-stars, but Katrina cleverly keeps dodging all the so-called must-kiss scenes…She is a very conservative girl at heart. In fact, when reports claimed she was going to wear a bikini in Dostana 2, Katrina protested violently and made it clear to producer Karan Johar and director Tarun Mansukhani that ther will be no kissing.”
Alright, so let me get this straight: you’ll prance around nearly 1/2 naked in front of everyone, but you won’t give a kiss on the lips to your co-star?! Hello…who wouldn’t want to kiss John Abraham or Abhishek Bachchan!
The cast and crew of Rajneeti calls Katrina the new-age Hema Malini because she has the hits and she won’t expose or kiss. Please, that’s TOO good of a compliment for Katrina Kaif!
Katrina’s reply? She said, “Well…that’s true. Though comparing me with Hemaji is too much. I don’t deny I’ve done scenes in the past where I did things that I wasn’t comfortable with. But now I won’t. I just don’t feel comfortable doing kissing scenes, or for that matter, wearing a bikini on screen.”
Another inside source stated, “All the intimate scenes in Rajneeti are between Ranbir Kapoor and his American girlfriend played by Sarah Thompson. They have lingering love-making and kissing shots. In the Indian portion of Ranbir’s story, there’s no intimacy with Katrina. She convinced the director that the character of a dignified politician doing intimate scenes would not go down well with the audience.”
What did Katrina have to say? “It’s true… I’m not at all comfortable doing kissing scenes. Call me a prude or conservative. I just don’t feel kissing scenes jell well with our audiences. So no kissing scenes for me.”
Before she focuses on her kissing scenes, the girl should learn to speak Hindi properly. I’m tired of having to watch her movies all dubbed.

It’s been officially announced that Priyanka Chopra will be replaced in Dostana 2 by Katrina Kaif!
OoOOoo….I can see the hairbrushes flying when that happened!
The bikini days are OFFICIALLY back for Katrina Kaif!
If you recall in Dostana, Priyanka Chopra, wore a sizzling gold swimsuit. Now word on the streets is that Katrina Kaif will be seen in “daring pieces of beachwear” for two scenes in the sequel.
Really?! Is ‘daring pieces of beachwear’ something to truly alert the media for?!
The last time, if I’m right…Kaif rocked a bikini was in the movie Boom. [Should I mention it was an epic fail? Yes!]
Oh here’s some big news (not)! Manish Malhotra will be designing the beachwear for Katrina, keeping in mind her comfort level.
Okay — you’re a Bollywood actress…what “comfort level” do you need to worry about! It’s not like Salman Khan hasn’t seen you in a two-piece (or less, haha) before…now the whole world will!
A friend of Kaif’s said, “Dostana 2 plans to take the fun factor to another level and it also has a lot of sex appeal. In Dostana 2, she will be seen in clothes that make her look more sexy than cute.”
Besides Dostana 2, Katrina Kaif will be playing a wannabe item girl in Farah Khan’s Tees Maar Khan, which could mean plenty of glamor in itsy-bitsy outfits.

Katrina Kaif All About A Clean Image Now? No Kissing?
Katrina Kaif has spoken… Karan Johar and Tarun Mansukhani have been told that Katrina will not take part in any steamy scenes in Dostana 2. Well I guess for a good reason, Katrina is trying to become known as an actress and not just some female that struts her stuff on screen for half the movie as eye candy.
Let’s just see how her movies do now… I think the only reason that the films she was apart of were such successful ventures for all parties involved was not Katrina’s acting but rather how great she looked scantly clad. Anyways she thinks kissing scenes don’t gel well with “society”, I wonder what this “society” thinks about the way she dresses on screen???
In other news Katrina was selected for Shiv Sena’s 2010 swimsuit calender…

Move aside Priyanka Chopra, theirs a new “Desi Girl” in town, and that label has been passed on to none other then the sexy Katrina Kaif. Oh yes Katrina has become Bollywood’s newest gal in demand, and so high in demand, that Katrina overthrew Priyanka in the race for a crucial role.
Now how can anyone forget the amazing affect the film “Dostana” had on its cast, the lead actors in the film rose to new heights overnight. And Ms. Chopra was no stranger to that fame.
Unfortunately, no one can control the hands of fate, and so now when “Dostana 2” is all set to begin, the role of lead actress was so graciously offered to Katrina. Although Priyanka Chopra left no stone unturned in playing the role of “Neha” in Dostana , (not to mention that the actress dared to bare it all in that sexy gold bikini), the makers of the film felt that Priyanka’s sex appeal was no match to the rising popularity of Katrina Kaif.
Well I’m sure P-Chops can now truly understand the meaning behind ’show business’, you can be at at the top of the list one night…and be forgotten the next. We’ll just have to wait till “Dostana 2” releases to make the final judgment call…but for audiences, whether its Priyanka or Katrina, both are more than eye appealing.
